Summary

• Emil’s talk, Let There Be Life, covered Genetic Algorithms and the ruby-processing gem. Emil did a visual demo of evolution of smart_rockets using the ruby-processing gem.

• The talk was followed by a coding session where we all hacked on the code and added another strategy for the evolution of the rockets.

• The turnout was very poor (just 4 of us) because it was the Easter weekend, but on the bright side, this allowed us to hack on the code together because it was a small group. And it was an 8th month in a row that we’ve had a KRUG event now. Yay! :)

• Finally, we had some awesome conversations around topics like AngularJS, chef, pull vs push deployments, remote working culture, etc.
